Privacy Policy
MM Calendar (နှစ် ၂၀၀ ပြက္ခဒိန်) is a Myanmar calendar for iPhone and Android. The calendar itself works entirely on your phone. This policy explains what information the app and the services it uses handle, and the choices you have.
Information that stays on your phone
Your notes, birthdays, reminders and settings (language, theme, reminder choices) are stored only on your phone. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. There are no accounts and no sign-in.
Reminders are scheduled by your phone itself. Home-screen and lock-screen widgets read the calendar from the app on the same phone.
Advertising
The app is free and shows ads served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, AdMob may collect:
- your device's advertising identifier (on iPhone only if you allow tracking when asked);
- your IP address and an approximate location derived from it;
- information about the device, the app and how you interact with ads.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before ads are personalised, and Settings shows a "Privacy choices" option to change your answer at any time.

Analytics
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand which screens and features are used, so they can be improved. It records events such as a screen being opened, together with the device model, operating system, app version, language setting and a random app-instance identifier. It does not record your notes, your name, or any contact details.
The app also downloads its settings (for example corrections to public holidays) from Google Firebase Remote Config. These requests include the same app-instance identifier.

Announcements
The app can receive announcements, such as notices about festivals or new features, through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. For this, Firebase gives the app a random token that identifies the installation, not you. Announcements are sent to everyone who has the app, never chosen for you personally.
You can turn them off at any time in your phone's notification settings for the app.
Sharing
We do not sell your information and do not share it with anyone other than Google, as described above. When you use the share button, the text you share goes only where you choose to send it.
Your choices
- Reset or delete your advertising identifier, or opt out of personalised ads, in your phone's settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
- On iPhone, you can refuse tracking when the app asks; ads still work, but are not personalised.
- Turn off reminders at any time in the app's Settings.
- Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored on your phone.
Retention and security
Information on your phone is kept until you delete it or uninstall the app. Analytics data is kept by Google for up to 14 months. All communication with Google's services is encrypted in transit.
Because the app has no accounts, we cannot link analytics or ad data to you. If you want to ask about or delete any data, write to us and we will help as far as we are able.
Children
The app is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
